Hence, I ordered the genuine Lexus filter from Lexus dealer through Amazon. I paid twice more than non-genuine filter (including extra shipping charge of $10.00). Genuine filter arrived in the FEDEX box (looks and feels pretty sturdy enough to protect the filter) only 2 days after I placed the order. I have just replaced the filter. The lid closes perfectly. Although I spent total $40, for the peace of my mind, it's the money well spent.
